One Faith, One Family, One Future

One Faith, One Family, One Future in Christ   campaign will address many needs and greatly benefit our Church, both here in our parish and throughout the Archdiocese. Each of us is being asked for three things:

        1.   Pray for the success of the One Faith campaign;

      2,  Consider a sacrificial gift, payable for up to three years, in an amount that makes sense for your family’s financial situation; and,

      3.  Encourage others to join this cause so that we may address current needs and prepare for future generations of Catholics.

To date we have reached 40% of our parish target with gift commitments from just 25% of our registered families!  We would like to say "thank you" to all of the parishioners who have sent in their pledge cards. If you have not done so, please discern prayerfully and see how you can participate.

I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to help make this campaign a success in our parish.   Specifically, I would like to thank my Campaign Leadership Committee and volunteers who accepted the invitation to serve on the campaign committee. These dedicated families have worked tirelessly for the past several months to ensure that our parish succeeds in this effort.

Fr. Regie

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

The beginning of July marks the one-year anniversary since I arrived here at Baileyville and St. Benedict as your pastor. Usually the first year of a priest’s new assignment is one of learning and therefore goes rather slow. Honestly speaking, I can hardly believe that I have been here for a year already. It has been a wonderful time for me serving God together with you. Celebrating sacraments for you, visiting the sick in the hospitals and the homebound, celebrating masses in the nursing homes, conducting the Bible Study programs, vacation bible school, construction projects at St. Benedict, parish picnics, riding on combines, learning gardening skills, riding bicycle and of course the time I spent at the Beaver’s! High-fiving the children after the masses, exchanging a quick joke with parishioners, I truly do feel like I am experiencing the joy of the Gospel among you.

I am grateful to all of you. I ask for and appreciate your continued commitment to and support of our parish through your time, talent and treasure as your schedule allows. I look forward to the coming year being one in which we continue to grow in our faith in the Lord and in the knowledge and love for one another while reaching out to others with the proclamation of the gospel. Please pray that God will keep me faithful to what he has called me to be & do as I continue to lift you up in my prayers! God Bless!
